Josh Vanada grew up in a racing family. From birth, he was at Seekonk Speedway where his father raced in the Street Stock Division. From a young age, he has fond memories of the family atmosphere, intense competition, smell of Sunoco race fuel and the special rumble of the Modifieds. As he grew up, he continued to be a fan, and support his brother who would follow in his father's footsteps as a racer. Jake currently competes in the Sport Truck Division at the family's home track - Seekonk Speedway. Josh tried racing, but did not enjoy being behind the wheel. He fell in love with what happened behind the scenes, though, and joined the officiating staff at Seekonk Speedway during college. Advancing to several positions with regional touring series throughout the Northeast, Josh eventually was named the General Manager of the oldest paved oval in the United States - Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park. He served in that capacity from 2013-2018, earning Regional Auto Racing Promoter of the Year for the Northeast Region, as well as receiving the Outstanding Short Track Event Award for the Sunoco World Series of Speedway Racing, which the team he led produced annually at Thompson in October. After leaving to pursue another career opportunity, Josh decided to get back into promoting as a hobby, thus the formation of this company. JDV Productions prides itself on producing regional motorsports events with national quality.
